 Guptkashi to Kedarnath to Guptkashi

* By Helicopter: Morning our driver will transfer you to your Helipad location (Phata, Guptkashi, Sirsi etc) as per helicopter ticket time. Kindly inform the driver timings of helicopter mentioned on the ticket previous day. Different aviation has different location for their helicopter service. Our driver will provide you pick and drop to hotel. Kindly inform the driver timings of helicopter mentioned on the ticket. Advance booking is highly recommended for the helicopter.

* By Trek: To reach Kedarnath by trekking route first you have to reach Gaurikund. We will drive to Sonprayag early in the morning after breakfast. Our car will drop to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag 5 kms drive to Gaurikund local jeep is available. This sharing basis jeep guests can book directly at own cost. Gaurikund to Kedarnath is further 14 Kms trek.

After reaching the Kedarnath visit Kedarnath Temple. Check in to the hotel/ashram. Visit Shankaracharya Samadhi. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

 Note : The helicopter is not included in the Tour. For helicopter tickets, you will have to talk to the tour operator and get the helicopter tickets booked from them.

Day 1: Delhi → Haridwar
  • Pickup from Delhi and drive to Haridwar (6–7 hrs).
  • Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.
  • Overnight stay in Haridwar.
  • Scenic drive to Barkot via Mussoorie/Dehradun.
  • Check-in at hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Barkot.
  • Drive to Janki Chatti, trek/pony/doli (6 km) to Yamunotri Temple.
  • Darshan & holy dip at Surya Kund hot spring.
  • Return to Barkot for overnight stay.
  • Drive to Uttarkashi (5–6 hrs).
  • Enroute visit Prakateshwar Cave.
  • Evening darshan at Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
  • Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
  • Morning drive to Gangotri Temple along the Bhagirathi River.
  • Darshan, holy dip in Ganga, and visit nearby attractions.
  • Return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
  • Long drive to Guptkashi.
  • Scenic views of Mandakini & Alaknanda confluence points.
  • Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
  • Drive to Gaurikund, then trek/pony/palki/helicopter to Kedarnath Temple (16 km).

1. What is Char Dham Yatra?
  • Char Dham Yatra refers to the pilgrimage to four sacred shrines in Uttarakhand – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath – considered highly auspicious in Hinduism.
    • The yatra usually opens in April/May (Akshaya Tritiya) and closes around October/November (Diwali). The best months are May–June and September–October for pleasant weather.
    • On average, the journey takes 10 to 12 days by road from Delhi, depending on weather and travel preferences. Helicopter packages are shorter.
    • Yes, with proper planning. Pony, palanquin, and helicopter services are available for Kedarnath and Yamunotri to make the journey easier for elders.
  • Yes, registration is mandatory for all pilgrims. You can register online on the Uttarakhand government portal or at designated counters.
  • Warm clothes, comfortable shoes, raincoat/umbrella, first aid kit, woolen gloves, power bank, torch, and necessary medicines are essential.
